Not at all expecting there to be children, Rai hadn’t known how to react. He just stood there practically expressionless staring at all the kids. When a few of them started running toward him and Matthew, however, he quickly decided that the most acceptable reaction was to smile. Not a big smile, but a slight one. Maybe it wasn’t exactly the right reaction, but it was the only thing he could think of doing.
Upon closer inspection of the children, one or two of them actually seemed taller than the bot was. Rai was used to others being taller than him, but not so much children. At least they weren’t so much taller like Matthew was.
When Rai had been introduced to the children, a couple of the children close to them ran up to him. The bot’s immediate reaction was to take a step backwards, not exactly liking how close the children were getting. But no more than a second after that, he only smiled at them and said a quiet hello. He wasn’t sure what else to do other than that.
