Name:Mei Wang
Age:19
Nationality:Chinese
Birthday:January First
Occupation:Self Proclaimed Private detective
Upper, Middle, or Lower Class?:Lower
Attitude Towards Bots?:Ever since her brother disappeared, Mei has been determined to find him. As a result, everyone, not just a human, but a bot to her could be her brother and she tries to treat them as such, with care and a smile. She does find how they are made rather frightening, but that just makes her more and more determined to find Jia, one of these days.
Appearance:Mei had always been called a cute child, her exuberant personality bubbling through her face, and even now, that is still the case. In the search for her brother, Mei does anything and everything to look for her brother. Because of this, she is much leaner then she used to be. She likes wearing dresses and as a result, usually wears very long and flowing clothing, twirling around at random to see her sleeves fluttering behind her. Her hair she keeps long, up to her waist, though sometimes she’ll tie it up because it gets in her face, although there is one stubborn piece of hair that she can’t get under control. Sometimes, if she’s feeling festive or wants to look pretty, she’ll pin a plum blossom pin in her hair.
Likes
[x]Boba! One of the drinks she would often get as a young girl for doing a good job at school, she holds the drink very fondly to her heart. Sometimes, she would like to eat a muffin with the boba, but usually she goes with just a milk tea boba.
[x]Dressing up! Although Mei doesn’t get many a chance to dress up, when she does, she goes all out, shopping, makeup, etc.
[x]Helping others! Every person to her is like her brother, or could be connected to her brother. So by helping them, it could be one more step into finding her brother again.
[x] Spring! She never did like the cold dampness of winter and the snow it would bring, so whenever spring arrives, her spirits lift up along with her hopes of finding her brother.
[x] Her plum blossom pin! Obtaining it by pure luck, she treasures the pin because it reminds her of her favorite season and of a little more happier time back at her homeland in China.
Dislikes
[x]Her parents. No doubt about it, even before her little brother disappeared, she always held a deep distaste for her parents, to the point of cutting off all of her ties with them.
[x]Hospitals. Mei’s dislike of hospitals results in some risky behavior when it comes to her health at stake, but she never can relax while inside of there, knowing that’s where people disappear, never to return.
[x] Those who take advantage of others. Going against her helpful nature, she always wants to do something in return for information. If she gains such information without helping someone, then guilt riddles her mind.
[x] A bad sense in clothing. She will help those with clothes, no excuses allowed! Besides, it helps get to know the other person in question more while she drags them off to shop with her.
[x] Winter. She does not like the chill and doesn't like the cold. Winter was too quiet and dead looking for her and so during that season, she busies herself with other things to do.
Strengths
[x] Her cheerfulness! She is able to keep her head up even in times of despair and able to push forward. It is one of the reasons why she is able to continue the search for her brother the way she is.
[x] Cooking! Although more traditional, Mei loves to cook and if someone didn’t stop her, she would probably cook too much food to the point of overflowing the kitchen with food. It also helps with getting information, and more than once, she started working as a cook.
Weaknesses
[x]Nervousness. Mei is prone to nervousness, especially around hospitals. When someone insists on her going to a hospital, or checking on that scratch, she goes slightly hysterical and insists that she’s fine and she can deal with the pain. Her nervousness also spikes up when it comes to her brother, and if she’s close to finding him. Many bots and people were more concerned for her rather than the other way around.
[x]The need to help others. Since she never managed to help her brother out, she feels pressured to help everyone she can, since she sees everyone as a link to her brother. Sometimes, she would push herself past her limits in order to do so, but it is never enough to her.
[x] Stubbornness. It's to the point where even if someone drags her to a hospital, she'll sit down on the floor and refuse to move one inch.

Personality: As stated before, Mei Wang is a very cheerful young lady. Still retaining her higher class personality, she does hold a certain amount of class around her, but usually that is dispelled after she begins to talk. She does chatter around people she likes and even people she doesn’t really know in the first place, because hey! That’s always a good place to start when it comes to getting to know people! Always ready to help, she is determined to find her younger brother, bot or not, and…well, she hasn’t really thought about that yet, but she is determined to find her brother nonetheless!
However, she is prone to nervousness, always worried about other people, herself, Jia, and if she was even going the right way in finding her brother. Sometimes a little too self-critical of herself, Mei will berate herself if she does something wrong, even though it was a small mistake. Due to her family’s way of rewarding someone for good grades or good behavior, she has a small side of her that wants to be perfect for other people and for her standards of perfection. It does drive her past her limits, but she insists to never go to a hospital, determined to get better on her own.
History: Mei Wang was born to a rather well off family from Hong Kong, who chased their dreams into the new city, Eishoff. Although there their dreams did not hit off as planned, in other words, they flopped, Mei as the older sister, took it upon herself to help her younger brother. Her older brother got most of the attention after all, so she would give her attention to Jia.
As the middle child and a girl, she didn’t get the most attention ever, so slid by with average grades, and the occasional reward of boba whenever she did well in a test. Happy with that life, she did occasionally miss wearing fancy dresses like on the mainland, but was still happy. However, even with all of her attention towards Jia, she failed to notice her parents acting…a little nicer to Jia than usual.
When her parents found Jia coughing blood, she wanted to go with them, to make sure Jia would be okay, but her parents refused her, telling her that she had to watch over the house. Mei, unsure of this, let her parents take her little brother away, and that was the last time she saw him. She grew angry with her parents afterwards, and only a few months after her brother disappeared, so did she, with a few of her belongings. Her brother was still out there and her parents had something to do with why he disappeared.
He wasn’t dead…! He couldn’t be!
Because of that, she became a private detective, only more of a self-proclaimed private detective, looking for clues as to where her brother disappeared to, and…why?

“Hurry up with the chicken Wang!” A cook called out to Mei as she smiled, wiping the sweat off her brow.
“Coming!” she called, bringing the huge wok over with a swoosh of her skirts. She had to earn some money, and people with their bots sometimes swung around here. Maybe she would hear something about Jia! She had to keep up her hopes after all!
Setting down the chicken, she quickly stirred it up onto a plate and rushed out to serve it to the customers, all who were talking with each other. She smiled, and then set down the plate.
“You have a bot?” she said with a smile, tilting her head. “I was thinking of saving up and buying one myself! Can you give me some advice?”
Listening to what the customer had to say, Mei nodded, humming along with the customer and made general chitchat before retreating back to work. She wasn’t too much closer to her goal of finding Jia but…at least she was getting somewhere…
