Activity Check #4

This check will close on midnight PST/GMT-8:00 on August 4th, 2012.

How this works:

Once a month, there will be an activity check that lasts for a week. If anyone does not post for their characters in this thread, stating that you are active, you will be deleted and the character put up for grabs once more.

Also, in order to make it easier to check the "Ten Day Rule", please post a link to the last IC post you made when you post that you are here and active. This is not a requirement, but is very helpful. Please do remember, that the "Ten Day Rule" can be checked at any time, even outside of Activity Check Week, and those in violation are subject to deletion as per the rules of the board. Ten-day also applies to each character, not a person, which is why having extra characters is a bigger responsibility.

This month in particular, we will start checking Ten-day again starting from the 1st of August which means that you have ten days from the first of August to make your posts or your character that did not make the check will be forfeit.

This time around, I know it's been really slow and there are a lot of hiatuses. For those not on hiatus that are just thread-locked and have therefore missed the ten-day, please say so and we'll try to help you get something going. I will also make note in the list that you are thread-locked. I will also make note of hiatuses and you will be responsible for telling me you are thread-locked as I will not check for you.

Hello, both of you! I'm so sorry things have kind of gone dead for you guys. It's really not your fault! Both of you are very good but it looks like people just seem to have a habit of going poof. I'll check you both in and we're still gonna try and figure out what to do. After this activity check and the next ten-day check, the staff will probably make a decision on the next course of action for the board.

Lutz, I'm going to leave the option open that since the person you were plotting with just told me they were going to drop the board for personal reasons, that you may rewrite your character if you would like to make it easier to replot or figure out what you'd like to do. I'm more than willing to help however I can.

Both of you will be marked as thread-locked and don't worry about the ten-day check so much since, if you're thread-locked with things as dead as they are, there's really not much you can do, so it's not your fault.

That did look rather suspicious-

Krystian waved his hands frantically and whined, attempting to calm the man.
“Is fine! Really! I was delivering bags of potatoes outside in the alleyway and was looking for some food when she came by and offered me some food. She mistook me for a different worker! Or…someone else! And I thought she was someone else too!”

After all, she couldn’t be the American girl. The American girl didn’t know Russian (he had taught her how to say hello, but that was it).

He cried once more and backed up towards the man hole.
"I'm so sorry! I did not mean to! I just thought she was someone else! And she offered me food- not that this is her fault I am the one who made the mistake- please don't hurt me! I'm sorry! Let's not fight ok? I'll leave you now, yes? I don't want to cause you trouble." He slowly backed up towards the man hole, hoping to then run for his life and possibly drown his humiliation in some much needed alcohol.


((I'm also using italics for Ukrainian. Hope that's ok. thought it would be better than google translate xD))
