Name: Arielle B. Lavolier
Age: 19
Nationality: Seychellois
Birthday: June 29
Occupation: Part-time waitress | Student
Upper, Middle, or Lower Class?: Upper Class
Attitude Towards Bots?: Seeing as her first friend was a Bot, Arielle has a friendly attitude toward them. She tends to treat them no different than she does humans, so that being said she has no problem what so ever with them.
Appearance: Arielle is a petite young woman, she's not absolutely tiny but she's short and it fits her, she's proportioned in a way where just wouldn't look right if she was taller than she is. She stands at a height of 5'1, but often tells others she's 5'2" because if she stands on her tip toes she's a little past that height, and no one could really tell if she was lying about her height by an inch so what's the harm? She weighs around 116 pounds, give or take a few, so she's healthy.
Her hair color is a lovely shade of dark brown, in some lights it looks to be a chocolate hue and in other lights it looks extremely dark, the texture is thick and it is both wavy and curly, more so curly near the bottom. Her skin is kissed by the sun, appearing a light caramel color, but she's able to get much darker if she's out in the sun all day. She tans easily, but doesn't burn. Her eyes are large and curious, a chocolate hue and always have a lively sparkle to them. She's a happy and smiley girl, and it's quite obvious.
Arielle's clothing style is simple, she tends to wear light sun dresses whenever she has the chance, and when the weather is cold she tends to still wear dresses over her pants and such. She's normally seen in a sky blue dress with the sleeves puffy, floral pattern optional. She prefers to go bare foot, but when she can't go bare footed she wears sandals, and in cold weather boots. Around the house on a cold day she'll just wear socks. If she's feeling fancy, she'll wear light colored button down shirts and flowing skirts. Though her slippers stay, she isn't one to like high heels much.

[/u] - There is not a place in the world Arielle loves more, the sand, the ocean, the salty air... She feels most comfortable near large bodies of water seeing as it reminds her of home, and she likes swimming and looking for fishes and other aquatic animals. If she's ever mad, the beach can cheer her up as fast as you can snap.:basic:

[x] Aquatic Animals - Arielle does love all animals, but she has a soft spot for the ones that swim and live under water. Fish, whales, sharks, squids, octopuses, you name them and she'll say she loves 'em all. Her favorite is giant tunas and swordfishes, she even has a stuffed tuna she often carries around. She's had it since she was four, and though it appears a little beat up she couldn't love it more than she does.
[x] Cooking - Arielle has no talent at all when cooking (Unless someone is coaching her along), but she still enjoys trying to cook. Sure, she often burns the stuff she makes, or forgets it's in the oven / on the stove / ecetra, but if you enjoy something you don't stop just because you suck at it! ... Though she probably should stop attempting to cook.
[x] Company[/u] - Though she isn't the needy type who requires others around all the time, she does enjoy company with others. Talking, playing games, cooking. She just enjoys spending time with others. She loves laughing, and her friends often make her laugh.
[x] Exploring[/u] - Arielle's always liked exploring new or interesting places, she'll squeeze herself into the tightest of holes just to get to the other side and see what's there. She wouldn't hesitate in walking into a old rickety mansion, though it wouldn't be the smartest idea to do, she'd be curious to see if it was "haunted" or something of that nature.
[x] Quality Food[/u] - She isn't exactly a gourmet, but she'd hands down prefer the best food available. She loves sweets the most, anything that's sweet and yummy she loves. Cakes, pastries, candy, hot chocolate, overly sweetened tea... All that good stuff which in turn isn't exactly good for your body.
[x] Talking & Listening[/u] - Oh-so big on talking, the petite girl rather enjoys talking to others, no matter who they are! ...Unless they're someone who annoys her to the core, then her "talking" would probably be shouting. Though she's a big talker, she's also big on listening to others, if the have a problem she's more than happy to listen and hopefully help out with some solid advice. She might not be the best at being helpful, but it's the thought that counts.
[x] Dancing - Arielle is one to love dancing, she use to stand on her father's toes when she was tiny(ier) and he'd dance around so she developed a love for dancing from that. She doesn't make it known, she doesn't think it's exactly something she has to share but that doesn't mean she's reluctant to dance with or around others, she's brave and would dance anywhere easily. And if you make fun of her, she'll just throw her shoe at you.
Dislikes
[x] Being Bored - There is nothing worse than being bored to Arielle, boredom is just so... Boring. She's active and out-going so she's usually doing something. And when she isn't she's very fidgety, she isn't the best at staying still. She really just hates being bored, and when she is will do anything in order to cure the horrid "sickness" as she calls it.
[x] Bossy People - She really dislikes being bossed around, especially if by bossy people. She likes to do things her way, so when she's bossed around it just really... Irks her. Of course if she's told what to do by the Ringleader she'll do so without question, but if someone wants her to clean up their mess than no, she'll have a problem with that.
[x] Perverts - There's nothing more annoying than someone trying to grope you! Arielle is not a fan of perverts... Who would be?! Which is why she finds kicking and throwing things at the French perfectly appropriate when they act up.
[x] Liars - Seeing as she doesn't like being deceived, liars are something she seriously hates. There is nothing worse than a liar in her books, they ruin everything! Especially those who have o good reason to lie. Liars just really piss her off to the extreme!
[x] Closed in Spaces - When she was seven she accidentally got locked in a small cabinet while playing "hide and go seek" with her stuffed tuna fish. It was honestly one of the most horrendous things that happened to her. She felt trapped, she could barely move, and she was starting to fear she'd run out of air (not that she would, but her child-mind was leading her to believe a lot of crazy things). Ever since that day she's had a fear of closed in spaces, and prefers wide and open areas.
[x] When Others Dislike Her - She doesn't like when others dislike her. Well, more specifically, when they make it known. She feels like she's done something wrong to make the person not like her, and she's just not use to being disliked. Sure, she knows not everyone likes her but at least some people don't make it known and/or obvious! She'd prefer to be oblivious than know she's not liked.
[x] Waking Up Early - Due to the fact Arielle is rather active and always moving during the day, when she's out she's out. She doesn't like waking up earlier than needed or others waking her up earlier than needed, she enjoys her sleep and prefers to stay asleep!
[x] Being Called Short - 5'1 is a perfectly healthy height, sure she might not be as tall as some other girls, but she still reaches the stars...! And other things with a step stool. She doesn't like when her short height is pointed out, there's no need for it to be! And besides, it can come in handy at times!
Strengths
[x] Friendly - Arielle is a very friendly young lady, she can go up to anyone and (try to) spark up a conversation with them. She's charismatic, so approaching her isn't hard, in fact it's quite easily. If you ever need help, she's the one to ask (unless you're on her "Enemy" list). She's friendly but not overly friendly when she first meets someone, so she isn't exactly overbearing.
[x] Brave - Though she's small, and doesn't exactly look tough, Arielle is very brave. If she feels she's been dealt a wrong hand, or wrongly accused of something, or anything along those lines she isn't afraid to say so. And unless she gets an acceptable answer, she'll demand justice. If she sees a friend being bullied, she'll defend him or her no matter what. She's very protective of her friends.
[x] Resilient - Arielle can bounce back fast from shock or tough situations, if something happens that is a shock or disturbing, she's able to gather herself quickly and move forward, often times when something bad happens staying still and sulking is the worst thing possible to do, there will always be time for that later. She sucks it up and moves on, and when it's a good time to let it out she will.
[x] Optimistic - If a bad situation arises, Arielle is the type to try and see the bright side of things and if possible, she'll try to spread the "bright side" around to cheer up others. She doesn't like being down or seeing her friends down so she's always trying to cheer them up no matter what! It could always be worse...!
[x] Loyal - She's is a very loyal person, if win over her loyalty she shows it. She won't turn her back on her friends, she sticks by there side no matter what. Of course, if they have a plan to do something completely irrational and/or drastic she'll politely say she's not in and will try to talk them out of it, but it just shows she's a good friend and worried about their safety!
Weaknesses
[x] Easily Distracted - Arielle gets distracted very easily, if something bright pops up beside her, she'll switch from the topic at hand to to the bright thing beside her. She doesn't mean to get distracted, it just happens!
[x] Temper - Arielle is a friendly girl, but if you make her mad she's a dog. And she doesn't just bark, she bites. When she's mad she's mad, and she'll throw things, insult you like a child does, call you childish names, anything she can think of she'll do. She is pretty forgiving, but you'll have to apologize sincerely to get off her radar.
[x] Takes Thing Personally - If someone says something and doesn't make it clear they are joking, she'll take it personally. Doesn't matter which way, she'll take it to heart. If she isn't liked, she'll try her best to find out why and try and fix it. She doesn't like it much when others don't like her, she'll think she did something wrong! And if she did, she'll want to apologize! That is, only if she didn't mean to do something wrong.
[x] Emotional - When she's mad, she's mad. When she's sad, she's sad (though it takes a lot to get her down completely). When she's excited, she's excited. She tends to act with her emotions, when she's excited she can get rather energetic and loud, and of when she's mad she can get violent. When she's sad, she'll stay in her room and mope around. She lets her emotions control her easily, and at times can have outbursts.
[x] Stubborn - If Arielle believes in something, her opinion isn't easily swayed. If she wants to do something, chances of her changing her mind aren't high. She's stubborn and some times things just don't get through her skull quick enough or at all.

Personality: Generally Arielle comes of as a very friendly and charismatic young lady. She's very much interested and curious in meeting new people, but that's due to the fact she was pretty much isolated back at her house in her early years. She takes any chance she gets to meet new people, and most are very interesting! She very much enjoys making friends, and would tell anyone that easily, friends make her feel rather happy and she enjoys making new ones and being around them. Though she likes making friends, she isn't the "jumper" type of friend who gets bored with one group and jumps to the next, she's very loyal to her friends and once she deems you her friend she's your friend for life, and she'll do what she can to keep them happy and smiling, or just help them when they need help. Unless you do something that greatly offends her, something that isn't forgivable.
One problem she has when talking is the fact she tends to rant on and on about things, whether it's about the sky, grass, or the ocean. And if it's the latter good, luck getting her to shut up, she's fascinated with the ocean and it shows rather easily. She often fins herself in very long and drawn-out conversations with others, but though she likes to talk she does let others get words in, she isn't the type to constantly cut them off with more ranting. She can find something to rant about in any topic, well almost any topic. She's very determined, energetic, creative and bubbly so she's good at keeping herself and others entertained. If you like obtaining others views on something then you'd love her, she has a view and opinion on just about anything and isn't afraid to say so. She remembers things when talking to others, so when she listens she really listens.
Arielle is a simple girl so she easily finds herself stressed with complicated situations, and when she's stressed she's quite snappy, and she's prone to worry about many thing. Surprisingly, large crowds (of strangers) make her nervous, but that's due to the fact she was pretty much alone in her childhood. She trusts people easily, which isn't always a good thing. Seeing as she trusts others easily she doesn't always know when others are simply putting on an act, and easily can be tricked by kind words and friendly smiles. Though, if she finds out she's been deceived she isn't friendly toward the person, she isn't the type to hold grudges but she doesn't like being tricked so she can be very cross toward the person who's tricked her. She has a short temper, and though she's friendly she can turn from nice to mean rather quickly. Her temper is slightly violent (She's known to throw her shoes at others) and very childish. She'll call others by rude names if she isn't keen on them, and will be very rude and stand-offish.
Due to the fact she was pretty much pampered and taken care of by her Parents and by the Bots in her house growing up, she isn't the most independent person there is-- but that doesn't mean she wants or likes depending on everyone around her, she wants to be independent! And she's learning how to stop depending on others, really she is! She even got herself a job, though it was strongly discouraged by her parents. She depends on others a lot, with the smallest of things even. She isn't the best cook and when she tries to cook alone her food isn't very... Appetizing, though if she has someone coaching her through it her food comes out quite nice. Most of the time she guesstimates when cooking, adding too much of something or substituting something for something else. She tends to burn things a lot as well. She worries about her being so dependent on others, though, and tries her best to come off independent but normally something where go wrong and it'll only show just how dependent on others she really is. But she's learning how to depend on herself alone...! Honest, she is! She often helps others to make herself feel better about being dependent, because when she helps others are depending on her.
Though she hates embarrassing herself, she has learned to laugh at herself instead of making a big deal out of something that she's done. If she slips in something yucky, she won't get frustrated if she's laughed at (unless someone she hates is laughing), she'll force herself to laugh as well. It normally defuses others laughing because they aren't getting a strong reaction out of her.
One thing that makes Arielle extremely uncomfortable would be romance. She does enjoy watching others delight in romance, but when it comes to herself she finds it awkward and very uncomfortable, and she often doesn't know how to react so finds herself becoming defensive if someone says something "romantic" toward her and reacting ill-mannerly toward the person. She's known to lash out at others if they act perverted or say something she deems embarrassing toward her.
Arielle is very brave, she'll stand up to anyone no matter who they or what they are if it means defending herself or her friends, if a rough situation comes up she'd be one to volunteer herself to check something out.
History:
The Beginning
- - -
- - -
On the 29th of June, Arielle was born into the world by Mrs. Michael and Paige Lavolier. The birth of their first born was greatly celebrated, and the two new parents could not be happier than they were the day they brought the bundle of joy into their lives.
Michael and Paige were older than most when Arielle was born, Michael was 46 and Paige was 43, and in honesty the pregnancy had all been a pleasant surprise. In the past they had tried for children, but it never worked. But at long last they had a child of their own, and planned to make sure that Arielle never had to want for anything in her life.
Paige was an actress, though retired from the job after discovering of her pregnancy. Michael is a businessman, he owns a line of stores that sales electronics. It is a very popular line of electronics, the prices or flexible for those in different situations, and the qualities are great. The line is called L.E., standing for Lavolier Electronics.
Childhood: Part One

Growing up, Arielle was shown unconditional love, and true to her parents words she never had to want for anything at all, and if she did it was quickly given to her without hesitation. She had all the best toys and clothes, the coolest games and game systems out, but there was one thing she was lacking. Friends.
Arielle didn't live around other kids where she grew up in the Island of Seychelles, she was surrounded by adults at all times, but never saw kids, so she mostly was stuck to play alone in her room. Sure, her parents would offer to play with her but they just weren't as fun as another kid would be, so she quickly became bored with all the toys after realizing she wasn't able to show anyone else it.
Arielle didn't go to school, she had tutors that taught her from school. Her parents were rather protective of her, and because she was smaller than children her age decided the best option was to home school her. They didn't want other children picking on her, she could get sad and that was something they wanted to avoid as much as possible.
Childhood: Part Two

When Arielle turned ten, her parents announced that they'd all be moving to Eishoff due to Michael opening up some stores there, Arielle wasn't all too excited about that because she liked the warm weather in Seychelles. Antarctica didn't sound like a warm and awesome place to her, but she was only ten and for once did not get much of a say in moving so, the Lavolier family was on their way to Eishoff.
The climate was much different from Seychelles, it wasn't blazing hot and she wasn't able to just dive into the ocean without worrying about freezing. But Arielle eventually got use to it, mostly because she was given a Bot on her eleventh birthday. The bot looked only a few years older than herself, and was friendly so Arielle was happy again.
Like she depended on her parents, Arielle began depending on the Bot, called Sesel (in memory of Seychelles), a lot. Sesel kept her entertained, seemed to be amused with the things she showed her.
Current Life

In Eishoff, Arielle did begin going to a Private School. Her parents decided she was big enough to take care of herself that much at least, though shortly after started doubting the decision because their only child seemed freaked out at the idea of being surrounded by strangers, but after making a few friends warmed up quickly. She's since graduated from High School, and is currently attending College
Because she was told by someone at the school, when she was in school, she was too dependent, Arielle informed her parents she was going to be getting a job just to spite the person who told her she was dependent (she had said it in a mean way, so the brunette wasn't too happy). Her parents urged her not to, because it was a dangerous world. She could get held up at gun point working at stores, she could get burned by grease if she worked at a fast-food restaurant, the possibilities were endless!
Eventually they agreed that she could get a part-time job at a restaurant of their choosing, and because of their status was able to get her a job at a rather fancy restaurant when she turned eighteen. She's been working their a good year now.
RP Sample:
"Oh, you ordered the coffee with no sugar, I'm sorry! I must have... I must have gotten the orders mixed up! I'll fix it right away!"
A bright crimson color erupted on the brunettes face, apologies spewing out of her mouth but ended after she scurried off, nearly bumping into a different waitress but managed to avoid her by mere inches, thanking God that she had, she didn't want to cause anyone to make a mess just because she was in a frantic mood at the moment.
Due to the fact the Seychellois woman never had to work a day in her life in her childhood and mid teen years, she was quite new to the whole thing. Maybe she should have practiced some, or first taken a job at a lower-class restaurant, but her parents were prone to worrying and she could only get a job if she agreed to work at this restaurant, cleverly named Nefuku. Actually, she couldn't tell if it was cleverly named. She didn't even understand why it was named Nefuku. Maybe the founder of the restaurant was named Nefuku? She didn't know, and at the current moment she really shouldn't be thinking about that. She was much better of thinking about how she was going to get costumers orders right and remember who ordered what. It was harder than it looked and sounded, much harder.
Don't worry about it, Arielle! You're a quick learner, you'll get the hang of things in no time! Yes, she certainly would have to! Her parents got her the job even though she was obviously unqualified for it, so she'd have to step it up a game! She didn't want to get fired, it would be so embarrassing to get fired in the first week of working, unless it was over a cool reason... But getting fired over simply being unable to remember simple things wasn't cool at all.
The brunette grabbed a cream colored coffee mug and filled it with coffee, she never exactly understood how people could drink the hot liquid, she much preferred hot chocolate. But her parents would always tell her something along the lines of 'Don't Knock It Till You try It'. But she'd prefer not to try it, she was perfectly fine with drinking liquid chocolate mixed with milk.
After she mixed in some creamer, she hurried back over to the old couple at one of the tables she was serving. "Here, no sugar like you asked! I'm terribly sorry for not getting it right the first time! It's only my third day here, I'm new to all this but I'll do my best to improve, trust me! The next time you order something, I'll do it right!" She ranted, a determined expression on her face, fists clenched in front of her.
The old woman blinked owlishly. "Sure, dear, it's no problem?" She said, the statement coming out more like a question than anything else. The old man only chuckled to himself, shaking his head. He seemed amused, but Arielle wasn't so sure. He may have just laughed due to old age?
When Arielle had first arrived at Eishoff she had been very reluctant to except the new climate, but now she was quite glad she, for once, did not get a say in anything to due with moving. It opened up a bunch of new opportunities, and gave her the chance to prove that she could be independent and stop relaying on everyone around her. Of course the process of becoming independent was harder than she had expected, but she wasn't going to give up!
