At times Nhi really wished shopping carts were allowed to leave grocery store grounds, having to carry heavy bags wasn't an easy feat for the brunette, the weight wasn't a problem however the amount was. Eggs had to be handled with delicacy, they weren't supposed to be jumbled about or bagged with something heavy like flower, she was almost certain a few eggs would be shattered by the time she was seated in a cab. Speaking of which, she needed to figure out a way to tag one day while balance bags in her arms, she just could wave about. Doing that would result in a waste of plenty of things, including but not limited to milk, ice cream, cans of soda, tea bags, and cheese. It would be easier if her father would have allowed her to take his car, but no he insisted he might need it later and then told her to just hurry up and go shopping. And of course, being the polite and respectful person she was she apologized for causing him frustration and went on her way.
It'd be better if the grocery store new the house sold the kind of cake he wants. Nhi thought, a small frown coming to her features as she pondered over the fact. No, only the grocery stores in the West did so she'd always have to take a cab from the North to there. A bot would come in handy, but she did not have one. She was saving up, but saving was different from having. Ridding her head of those thoughts, the young woman focused on the task of exiting the proximity of the store, and then look wait for a cab and hope to God one came before the ice cream she bought especially for herself melted. At least it wasn't smoldering hot outside, but it was Antarctica so it was to be expected.
Because the bags blocked her view of the ground, Nhi did not see the shift in the concrete, and ultimately lost her balance. She managed not to trip and land on her face, but some of the bags fell and she was unable to catch them, darn not having ninja reflexes. "Ah!" The sound came out sounding frustrated and surprised after finding one of the bags ripped. That was just added stress, but she'd cope. Furrowing her brows a moment, finding that the eggs were in a bag she managed to hold on to lifted her spirits slightly. "At least nothing broke..." Though, trying to comfortably find a way to carry her purchased things was proving more difficult than earlier, but she supposed it was because she had to pick them up off the ground rather than the bag rack in the store, and every time she leaned down the bags in her arms threatened to fall. But she'd succeed in the task, she was determined.
